Home Schooling ruined my life, and all the people that I know that were home schooled.
Put your kids in school, let them live a normal life.

I’ve never been to a homeschool conference, but maybe this will help you:
Our main conference where I live is in another city and I prefer not to have to travel, pay for a motel, pay for the conference, etc. But I know many people who go and they love it.

The conference I attended was a bit like a big trade show. Lots of booths with vendors selling their curriculum or ideas. They also had some great speakers and a used curriculum/book sale. That was great. Tons of books for hardly any cash. It was nice to hang around with many people of the same mindset.
